The existing authorisation for NeemAzal®-T/S in Belgium has been extended under Article 51, with the updated authorisation effective from 1 June 2026. The authorisation remains valid until 31 January 2028.
The new authorisation expands the range of approved uses for NeemAzal®-T/S. New crop uses include leafy vegetables such as lettuce, endive, rocket (arugula) and baby leaf salads, as well as additional crops including beans, cauliflower and broccoli. Furthermore, the maximum number of applications has been increased for fruiting vegetables such as tomato, aubergine (eggplant) and cucumber.
In Belgium, NeemAzal®-T/S continues to be available exclusively for professional users. The extension provides additional options for integrated pest management (IPM) and broadens the practical use of NeemAzal®-T/S across a wider range of crops.
