Neem-Extract-Preparations for Private Users
Private users can get our biological insecticide for use in the home and garden sector in many garden and retail centres in Germany. We cooperate with the leading companies in the industry. Only their neem products contain our unique, effective neem extract.
From the Kernels of the Neem Tree
The Neem-Extract-Preparations contain NeemAzal®, the pure active ingredient from the kernels of the tropical neem tree Azadiracta indica A. Juss. The active ingredient is obtained as a powdery plant extract in a specially developed process. The extract clearly stands out from inferior and sometimes harmful neem oils, which can contain questionable impurities and are not approved as plant protection products in Europe due to lack of standardization. Our extraction process guarantees a consistently high quality. The ecological insecticide also contains formulation additives based on renewable raw materials for a high efficiency against a wide range of insect pests.

Areas of Application
The ecological insecticide preparations can be used in Germany in vegetable, herbs and ornamentals against free-living sucking, chewing and leaf-mining insects:
Advantages at a Glance
The Neem-Extract-Preparations for private users contain NeemAzal®, the purified active ingredient of the seed kernels of the tropical neem tree. The active substance permeates into the leaves and is distributed partially systemic in the plant. It is ingested by pest organisms via suckig or feeding.
The Neem-Extract-Preparations have no immediate toxic effect (no “knock down”) and have a special multi-stage mode of action. Within a few hours after application of NeemAzal®-T/S, it has an inactivating effect on a wide variety of free-living sucking, chewing and leaf mining insects such as aphids, whiteflies and thrips. The pest insects cease their food uptake and thereby their plant-damaging activities. The developmental and moulting processes of the pest organisms are inhibited, which leads to mortality after a few days. In adult organisms, fertility is significantly reduced.
The multi-stage, slow mode of actionof the Neem-Extract-Preparations should be taken into consideration when assessing efficacy. Therefore, it is more important to assess plant-protective effects (e.g. absence of feeding damage, colonies or honeydew production) than to assess the number of dead pest organisms. Aphid colonies are often still visible for some time, but the young aphids do not develop anymore.
Fill the spray tank with 2/3 of the required amount of water and add the Neem-Extract-Preparation while stirring thoroughly. Then add the remaining water. The spray solution should be used on the day it is prepared. Do not prepare more spray solution than required.
Ensure good, all-round wetting (including the bottom of the leaves). Due to the partially systemic effect, sucking, chewing and leaf-mining insects are reliably detected, even if they have not been sprayed directly.
Dosage: Neem-Extract-Preparations are generally used as a 0.5 % aqueous solution (i.e. 5 ml per 1 liter of spray liquid).
The Neem-Extract-Preparations are not dangerous to honey bees under the recommended application conditions (B4).
The Neem-Extract-Preparationsare harmless for most beneficial organisms and can be used alongside them. Beneficial organisms can make an important contribution to reducing pest insects.

|Important||When buying neem products, pay attention to the ingredients and registrations. Neem oils for example can possibly cause great damage as they are not standardized and can therefore cause no or even undesirable effects. Other products with non-original NeemAzal® (neem extract) often contain a low amount of active ingredient or have minor or no approval!|
Store in a cool and dry place at temperatures between 15 and 20° C. Storage below 10° C can lead to precipitations in the product. The precipitation can be re-dissolved (without loss of efficacy) by briefly heating the product to approx. 20-30° C.
Please always compare the concentration amounts on the packages, because only a sufficient concentration guarantees success. Use pesticides with care. Always read the label and the product information before use.
