Successful presentation at the 64th German Plant Protection Conference: Illegal biological plant protection products using the example of neem oil.

We are delighted to have been represented with a presentation at the 64th German Plant Protection Conference at the Technical University of Braunschweig!
Title of our presentation: ‘Black market, brown leaves – illegal biological plant protection products using the example of neem oil’.

Using neem oil as an example, we showed the differences between products not approved for plant protection and the officially tested and approved NeemAzal®-T/S, and why approval, proof of efficacy and clear guidelines are crucial for user safety, environmental protection, legal certainty for companies and confidence in the market.

The German Plant Protection Conference takes place every two years and is a leading specialist event for phytomedicine and plant protection in Europe. Participation is also recognised as a training measure for expertise in plant protection – an important aspect in relation to the topic of our presentation!

This year, in addition to the German Phytomedical Society (Deutsche Phytomedizinische Gesellschaft e. V.) and the Julius Kühn Institute, the Lower Saxony Chamber of Agriculture and the Technical University of Braunschweig were also organisers of the conference.
